Principal Software Engineer in Test Automation

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to join our Prisma Access Cloud Service team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design, develop, and deliver next-generation technologies that protect our customers' digital way of life.

You will work closely with our development and product management teams to test and present results, identifying new approaches and driving the efficiency and reliability of our products.
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will participate in design discussions and help shape the future direction of our software. You will be responsible for testing our products thoroughly to understand potential risks, bugs, or issues, providing an exemplary product experience for our end users.
Prisma Access extends the protection of our next-generation security platform, operationalizing the deployment by leveraging a cloud-based security infrastructure operated by Palo Alto Networks. You will have the opportunity to work on different public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) to automate cloud orchestration, visualization, and alerting mechanisms.
We're looking for highly technical individuals with a strong background in scripting/programming languages, including Python or Go. Experience with IPSec, BGP, L3 VPNs, SD-WAN, DHCP, TCP, UDP, and cloud technologies is a must. You should also have experience with DB clusters, Linux or Esxi Virtualization, or Docker/Kubernetes.
