Medical Director for Skilled Nursing Facilities in New York

We are actively seeking a compassionate Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive health care to residents at our esteemed Nursing Home. In today's healthcare landscape, the need for skilled physicians is growing rapidly.

As a primary care physician, you will be responsible for providing evaluation, treatment, and ongoing monitoring of episodic illness. Your expertise will also be invaluable in referring participants to medical specialists as indicated with input from our interdisciplinary team.
The role involves daily oversight of hospitalized participants, including providing primary care responsibilities, updates to the team, and coordinating discharge planning with the interdisciplinary team.
A key aspect of this position is performing initial assessments, including comprehensive histories and physicals, of assigned participants at intake and quarterly reviews. This allows us to ensure that our residents receive personalized care tailored to their specific needs.
To succeed in this role, you must possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You should also be proficient in managing electronic health records and have excellent organizational abilities.
Based on industry standards, we estimate the salary for this position to be around $250,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This compensation package includes competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within our organization.
