Job Summary

Hight Construction LLC is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction process and ensure project schedules are met. The successful candidate will have a proven track-record in commercial construction and possess strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise on-site personnel and ensure efficient jobsite operations
  • Track and record field changes, monitor jobsite safety, and maintain quality control
  • Communicate with administrative team members and ensure project schedules are met
  • Order day-to-day materials and schedule inspections as necessary
  • Supervise completion of project closeout responsibilities, including punch lists
  • Ensure trades on site are efficiently carrying out duties assigned
  • Maintain positive relationships with employees, inspectors, clients, architects, trade partners, and other key stakeholders
  • Deliver quality work consistent with project plans and specifications
  • Have a working knowledge of civil, architectural, mechanical, and electrical construction
  • Ability to stage, coordinate, and manage an organized and safe job site
Requirements
  • 5 years commercial construction field experience
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and field orders
  • Promote a positive, effective work environment fostering communication and teamwork
  • Maintain daily paperwork, including timecards, field authorizations, and daily reports
  • High level of customer service and communication
  • Possess valid North Dakota driver's license
  • Able to perform physical tasks common to carpentry position, including lifting items up to 100 pounds
  • Ability to occasionally work nights and weekends and/or out of town
