Speech and Language Specialist

Prairie Lakes AEA is seeking a qualified Speech and Language Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our educational services team, you will be responsible for providing essential speech and language services to students in various educational settings.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate student communication skills and develop targeted interventions to address areas of need.
- Implement evidence-based strategies to improve student outcomes and provide coaching to teachers and families on effective communication techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for students' communication needs.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology from the Iowa Department of Public Health (DPH) and/or the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners (BOEE).
- Previous experience working with children and families in educational settings.
