About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiology CT Technologist to join our team at iCare Emergency Centers. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic testing using Computer Tomography (CT) and X-ray equipment in accordance with protocol.
  • Produce high-quality images and upload them for radiology reads/interpretations.
  • Receive and post radiology reads/results to patient charts.
  • Maintain and update radiology department procedure logs as required by policy.
  • Record data and QA test results as required by radiology policy.
  • Apply proper technique and safe practice while performing diagnostic testing.
  • Maintain current credentials and ensure copies are on file.
  • Ensure equipment is in proper working order and report defects/deficiencies.
  • Adhere to safety policies regarding fall prevention and proper shielding.
  • Adhere to radiation safety policies and other applicable policies.
  • Document radiology activity in patient medical charts.
  • Perform venous blood draws for blood and body fluid samples.
  • Report abnormal lab testing to healthcare providers.
  • Post completed lab results to charts.
  • Perform daily/monthly QC's to ensure proper performance and compliance.
  • Meet annual laboratory proficiency testing requirements.
  • Report any diversion from normal lab operations or incidents.
  • Perform patient skill sets such as taking vital signs and documenting as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning the facility and radiology department.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient-related issues.
  • Ensure radiology department operates within compliance standards.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in CT (preferred)
  • BLS Certification (preferred)
  • ARRT Certification (preferred)
Work Environment

This is a part-time position with a 12-hour shift schedule. You will have the flexibility to choose your own hours. The work location is in-person at our facility.
