About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Coverage Advocate to safeguard policyholders' interests and engage in diverse legal matters. This role offers the opportunity to advocate vigorously for favorable outcomes, conduct thorough documentation, oversee a varied caseload, and leverage negotiation skills to secure advantageous settlements.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Client Representation: Advocate zealously for policyholders in coverage disputes, claim denials, and bad faith claims.
  • Thorough Documentation: Review and analyze insurance policies, claims, and correspondence to build robust cases and identify critical issues.
  • Case Management: Oversee a varied caseload, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and maintaining meticulous case files.
  • Negotiation Skills: Leverage your negotiation abilities to secure advantageous settlements with insurance carriers and other parties.
  • Litigation Excellence: Represent clients in court, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, showcasing your persuasive advocacy.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Must hold a valid license to practice law and be in good standing with the bar association.
  • Proven litigation experience (first-party property insurance experience preferred).
  • Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Proficient negotiation and advocacy abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
