RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a Per Diem - Days - Medical Surgical Unit role. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the delivery of safe and quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to policies and procedures.
- Administer medications accurately and safely.
- Document according to policies and procedures and demonstrating technical skills specific to the nursing unit.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
Requirements:
- Current New Jersey RN license.
- ASN or Nursing Diploma (Must agree to complete BSN within 5 years of hire date).
- BLS and ACLS.
- Previous Nursing Experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN.
- Neuro experience.
