About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Filter Design Engineer to join our team at Skyworks Solutions. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance analog semiconductors for wireless networking applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop acoustic wave filters for integration into RF modules, meeting demanding schedules, best-in-class performance, and critical size and cost requirements.
  • Follow Skyworks best engineering practices to ensure reliability, sustainability, and delivery of high production yield.
  • Drive new architectures and ideas to continuously improve filter and module performance, maintaining a competitive edge for Skyworks products.
  • Conduct design reviews and present quantitative data to demonstrate compliance to internal or customer specifications based on simulation and measured results.
  • Work closely with module and systems teams to set appropriate goals for filter performance criteria.
  • Interact with technology and fabrication teams to ensure continuous performance improvements and steer BU roadmaps.
Requirements
  • MS with 3 years of job experience; or BS with 5 years of experience.
  • Familiarity with BAW/SAW filter design and product execution.
  • Deep understanding of RF fundamentals such as impedance matching, distributed systems, passive RLC and resonant circuits, noise, linearity, bandwidth, and stability.
  • Prior experience in EM simulation of filters or multi-chip modules (MCM).
  • Strong circuit simulation skills utilizing Agilent ADS/Cadence and 2.5/3D EM tools such as Momentum or HFSS.
  • In-depth, practical, hands-on experience on problem-solving and lab debugging skills from prototype to mass production.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with cellular RF systems.

At Skyworks Solutions, we offer a competitive salary range of $89,100 - $172,100 per year, depending on relevant experience and skills.
