We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Physician to join our team at Physician Empire in a permanent position in the Tampa suburb. This is a unique opportunity to work in a 40-bed Med/Surg ICU and 8-bed CV ICU with a consistent team of existing providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 24/7 internal medicine resident coverage through our ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Collaborate with a consistent team of existing providers to deliver high-quality patient care
- Participate in teaching responsibilities with our APPs and residents
- Offer tele-intensivist support to a smaller local facility with in-house critical care APP
- Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction
Requirements:
- 15 shifts per month, with days and nights equal
- 13-15 patients per day
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
