Your Role:
Conducts intricate diagnostic and analytical testing of laboratory samples and interprets results.
The value you will add to the team:
+ Analyzes, reviews, and interprets complex test outcomes+ Acts as a resource for intricate tests/procedures+ Oversees instrument maintenance and troubleshooting+ Leads quality control and assurance testing+ Assists with data collection and special projects as needed+ Aids in department orientation and training of laboratory personnel+ Executes assigned pre-analytical tasks related to laboratory testing, which may include equipment maintenance, function checks, documentation, specimen collection, biological specimen processing, cleaning and disinfecting laboratory equipment and spaces, quality control, and calibration performance, among other pre-analytical responsibilities.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in medical technology or related sciences with appropriate state licensure if required or relevant national certification+ Minimum of two years of technical experience+ Must possess certification from one of the following organizations:+ Medical Laboratory Scientist (American Society for Clinical Pathology)+ Medical Technologist (American Society for Clinical Pathology)+ Medical Technologist (American Medical Technologist)+ Medical Technologist (American Associate of Bioanalyst)This facility is an equal opportunity employer and adheres to federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations, and ordinances.
