Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required. Alternatively, three years of progressive experience in the specialty may be considered in lieu of each year of education.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Proficiency in Java 8, REST, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, and OpenShift deployments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of hands-on Java development experience.
  • Familiarity with Java 8, REST, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka or MQ, OpenShift deployments, Spring Security, JPA, XML, XSLT, JAXB, JAXP, MVC, and various design patterns.
  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, and/or Test-Driven Development environments.
  • Involvement in project life cycle activities for development and enhancement projects.
  • Deep understanding of modern application architecture and practical experience with Microservices.
  • Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Event-Driven Services, and Cloud Native Application Development.
  • Strong knowledge of API design is essential.
  • Some familiarity with DevOps practices, including Pipelines and CI/CD tools, is required.
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design is essential.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A commitment to working in a global delivery environment.
