About the Role
We are seeking a skilled GIS/GPS Technician to work on various projects throughout Georgia and South Carolina, including municipal, private, and federal clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting field surveys, collecting data, and collaborating with project teams to determine project requirements and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use survey-grade GPS equipment to accurately locate and map above-ground assets.
  • Conduct field surveys and collect data to support engineering projects.
  • Work closely with project teams to determine project requirements and objectives.
  • Effectively communicate project progress and findings to team members and other individuals involved.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on collected data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update GIS databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with ArcGIS software.
  • Proficiency in operating survey-grade GPS equipment.
  • Strong understanding of GIS principles and data management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
