Preconstruction Manager Job Description

Straticon is seeking a highly skilled Preconstruction Manager to join our team. As a key member of our preconstruction team, you will be responsible for leading the bid process across all divisions of work for multi-family construction projects in Florida.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the bid calendar, ensuring timely completion of estimates.
  • Review and revise estimates for completeness and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates, effective cost reductions, and resolve issues related to the project.
  • Utilize company and industry historical data for pricing estimates.
  • Responsible for the entire bid process, from start to finish, including the buy-out process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in estimating with a general contractor.
  • Strong organizational, supervisory, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of pre-construction and its practices.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans proficiently.
