Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Packaging Maintenance Manager to join our team at Contract Pharmacal. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our packaging facilities, including equipment, documentation, and support systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the maintenance team to ensure all packaging facilities are well-maintained and up-to-date.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to install, rebuild, or replace production equipment.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure technical staff are adequately trained and equipped.
  • Monitor and analyze key maintenance parameters, including asset utilization, maintenance cost, and PM compliance.
  • Develop and implement projects to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulations, and lead by example in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial maintenance.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance and operations, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Expert knowledge of packaging equipment and facility support systems.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations for improving facility operations.
Working Conditions
  • Work environment in production operations facilities, including close proximity to heavy machinery and pharmaceutical powders.
  • Potential to move between production operations sites/areas to complete job functions.
  • Indoor manufacturing environment, including enclosed areas with dust and loud noises.
