Lumber Handler

At American Hardwood Industries, we are seeking a skilled Lumber Stacker / General Laborer to join our team in Waynesboro, VA.

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented individual to work in our production line, responsible for stacking lumber and performing general labor tasks.

• Stack lumber in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring accurate sorting and bundling.
• Identify and remove defective boards, adhering to quality control standards.
• Operate equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
