Senior Hematologist

Hematology Physician Position

Britt Medical Search is seeking a board-certified Hematologist with expertise in classical and malignant hematology to work in the Boston, MA area.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including consultations with medical and surgical services. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated team of advanced practitioners, hematologists, and administrative staff.

The Hematology department is supported by a Transfusion Medicine Service, which includes pheresis services, hematopathologists, and Radiation Oncology. Real-time flow cytometry is performed on-site by dedicated flow cytometry technicians and hematopathologists. Additionally, supportive care for hematology patients is provided by the Palliative Care Service, Behavioral Oncology, the Survivorship Program, social workers, and an acupuncturist.

We participate in various clinical trials through our membership in SWOG and NRG, and academic appointments are available at Tufts University School of Medicine.

Location: Located just north of Boston, the North Shore area offers excellent school systems, cultural activities, and easy access to New England's mountains and seacoast.

Requirements: Board certification in Hematology, experience in autologous transplantation, and eligibility to participate in a FACT-accredited autologous stem cell transplant program.

Estimated Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
