Job Overview

BELFOR Property Restoration is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in providing operational support for reconstruction efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch carpentry services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with experienced carpenters and supervisors to ensure seamless project execution
  • Protect contents and construct containment for construction dust, dirt, and airborne contaminants
  • Utilize BELFOR equipment and accepted methods to perform tasks related to floodcutting, salvaging, and labeling baseboards, cabinets, and doors
  • Develop expertise in material knowledge, including types, purposes, grades, and uses for trims, doors, and cabinetry
  • Gain proficiency in insulation installation and develop knowledge of framing, trim installation, and cabinetry installation under supervision
  • Learn and understand MSDS protocols for chemicals used during mitigation processes
  • Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain equipment in clean, serviceable condition
  • Ensure attention to detail and meet BELFOR standards in safeguarding other people's property
  • Provide exceptional customer service and work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
  • Be prepared to work nights, weekends, and travel periodically
  • Accurately report time worked and equipment and consumables used
  • Attend BELFOR-sponsored operations and safety training courses as required
