Church Groundskeeper

We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation and Maintenance Assistant to join our team at the Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about maintaining clean and safe facilities. As a Sanitation and Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of our church buildings, auxiliary buildings, and grounds.

• Perform routine maintenance duties, including cleaning and upkeep of facilities.
• Assist in the maintenance of assigned power equipment and hand tools.
• Ensure the safe and proper use of chemicals and supplies.
• Recommend ongoing requirements related to facilities to the Facilities Manager.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or janitorial role preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
