Position Overview

The Travel Radiology Technologist plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality imaging services across various healthcare settings. This position requires expertise in multiple radiological procedures and a commitment to patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • Experience: Proficiency in surgery, portable x-ray, general x-ray, and fluoroscopy is essential.
  • Certifications: Multiple certifications are necessary to accommodate diverse clinical scenarios.
Job Specifications
  • Unit Flexibility: Position does not require floating between units.
  • On-Call Duties: No on-call responsibilities are expected.
  • Weekend Work: Weekend shifts are mandatory, specifically on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Block Scheduling: Block schedules are a requirement.
  • Patient Ratios: Expected patient-to-technologist ratio is 1:1.
  • Work Schedule: Total of 32 hours per week, with shifts as follows:
    • Friday: 8 hours (Day)
    • Saturday: 12 hours (Day/Eve)
    • Sunday: 12 hours (Day/Eve)
  • Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care facility with a total of 109 staff beds.
  • Scrub Attire: Scrubs can be of any color; specific colors provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, and Maternal Child departments.
  • Charting System: Utilizes Epic for documentation.
  • Parking: No parking fees are incurred.
Additional Information

Documentation requirements include I9 Attestation, Driver's License/State ID, Social Security Card, among others. Compliance with Providence-specific documentation is mandatory.
