**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced benefits broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in the employee benefits industry and be able to drive sales growth while building strong client relationships.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Sales and Business Development: Sell, solicit, and differentiate benefit plans that meet the unique needs of clients and prospective customers.
- Insurance Needs Analysis: Analyze insurance needs for clients and provide recommendations for suitable coverage options within their budget.
- Proposal Development: Present proposals to clients and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Implementation and Coordination: Coordinate the implementation of new benefit plans, working closely with clients and internal teams.
- Industry Trends and Compliance: Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure that clients remain compliant and competitive.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and other industry partners.
- Performance Metrics: Track and report on key performance metrics, such as client retention and revenue growth.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits brokerage
- Active insurance broker license (required)
- Proven record of achieving sales targets and building long-term client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits products and services, including health insurance, retirement plans, and voluntary benefits
- Excellent communication skills that include written, verbal, and presentation
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools
