Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Talnt. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounting department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Operations Management: Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded in a timely manner.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor, compile, and analyze detailed cash flow reports, including historical data and future projections, to maintain optimal liquidity and advise on cash management strategies.
  • Tax Compliance: Oversee the preparation and filing of income taxes for multiple entities, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local tax regulations, and provide strategic advice on tax implications of business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting: Review and analyze financial data to produce accurate reports essential for strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Accounting Systems: Ensure adherence to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles, maintaining compliance with legal standards and company policies.
  • Team Leadership: Assign projects, direct staff, and provide guidance to the accounting team to ensure compliance, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Partnerships: Maintain relationships with financial institutions, oversee banking activities, and ensure compliance with banking requirements.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in accounting management, ideally within the real estate industry.
  • Skills: Proven ability to manage and complete projects within established deadlines, high level of accuracy and attention to detail in deliverables, proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
