About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygiene Specialist to join our team at Heartland Dental Care.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide thorough dental hygiene services to patients, including routine cleanings and screenings.
  • Conduct medical history documentation and patient screening to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene procedures and technologies to provide the best possible care.
Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, and electronic medical record systems.
  • CPR Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
  • Desire to continue learning and growing clinical skills to meet the needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health.
