We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Duly Health and Care. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a variety of complex diagnostic CT procedures, including routine CTs and CTAs, under the direction of the radiologist.
- Take accurate verbal patient histories and start I.V.s to administer IV contrast.
- Maintain a positive imaging environment for our patients and act as a patient liaison to the radiologist.
- Operate computer applications and scanning equipment, ensuring quality control and radiation safety.
- Complete daily paperwork and protocoling, as well as detailed patient histories.
- Administer IV and oral contrast according to site-specific protocols, under the guidance and approval of the site radiologist.
- Review and explain procedures to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during exams.
- Maintain technical competency through continued education and participation in Duly Health and Care sponsored training programs.
- Graduate of an accredited education program in radiology technology.
- ARRT Registered Technologist, RT(CT).
- Current IEMA license.
- BLS -- Basic Life Support, AED Adult & Pediatric CPR.
- Minimum one year CT related experience or training.
