The primary function of the Cardiac Catheterization Specialist is to assist in patient care within the cardiac catheterization lab by providing technical support to the interventional cardiology team.
- Deliver direct, safe, and proficient patient care in the Interventional Cardiology department.
- Assist in executing various invasive cardiac or peripheral vascular diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Maintain high standards of patient care through effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Work under the supervision of the cardiologist or radiologist performing the procedure.
- Support the cardiologist during procedures by managing equipment and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies and medications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant technical and professional regulations.
- Provide quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Foster a safe and supportive work environment for both staff and patients.
- Accurately prepare and update patient records.
