Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Senior RF Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for providing innovative design solutions for the packaging of antennas, RF Circuit Card Assemblies, radomes, and RF test equipment.

About the Role

This is an onsite role located in Tucson, AZ, requiring relocation based on candidate eligibility. The selected candidate will lead diverse multidiscipline teams, provide technical oversight, delegate tasks, and work with the Engineering organization to establish technology roadmaps, enable modernization, and contribute to general innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing small team technical leadership and common mature RF product development
  • Serving as a technical resource to the organization
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Mastery of Creo Simulate or ANSYS Workbench for preliminary structural and thermal analysis of design concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity or direct experience with RF Printed Circuit Board (PCB) material stack-ups and Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) layout
What We Offer

Raytheon offers a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $163,000 per year, depending on experience level. Additionally, we provide benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
