Job Summary

As a Community Liaison at Transcend Hospice, you will serve as a key point of contact between our organization and the community, fostering strong relationships and promoting our services. This role requires a unique blend of communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement community outreach programs to promote Transcend Hospice's services and mission.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community leaders, and other stakeholders to identify and address community needs.
  • Provide counsel to the Agency regarding community needs and program development.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all segments of the staff, the lay, and professional public, the Board of Directors, and the Medical Director.
  • Assist in the direction of programs through collaboration with and delegation of responsibility to administrative and supervisory personnel.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited college/university preferred.
  • Experience in the healthcare arena.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all segments of the staff, the lay, and professional public, the Board of Directors, and the Medical Director.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including offices and facilities, and to travel locally. Some exposure to unpleasant weather may be required.

Physical and Mental Effort

This role requires the ability to sit for extended periods and to handle stressful situations in a calm and courteous manner. Ability to travel is also required.
