Job Summary

DirectViz Solutions, LLC is seeking a skilled Technical Illustrator to create detailed technical equipment illustrations for publications. The ideal candidate will utilize photographs, engineering drawings, existing illustrations, and physical inspections to produce high-quality visuals that adhere to Government specifications and standards.

The role involves collaboration with a team on shared projects as well as independent work. The successful candidate will have experience creating technical illustrations in a professional environment and proficiency in CAD-based software such as AutoCAD or IsoDraw.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, edit, and maintain detailed technical illustrations using CAD software, adhering to Government-provided specifications and style sheets.
• Develop illustrations from photographs, engineering drawings, existing illustrations, or physical inspections of equipment.
• Collaborate effectively in a group setting or work independently on assigned tasks.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants should have at least 5 years of experience creating technical illustrations in a professional environment. Proficiency in CAD-based software such as AutoCAD or IsoDraw is also required. Additionally, strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

The estimated salary for this position is around $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
