Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Therapist to join our Family Foster Care team. The successful candidate will provide professional mental health care to children and youth in Family Foster Care and Therapeutic Family Foster Care. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dedicated team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and youth using clinical interventions to address trauma and complex needs.
- Coordinate with external mental health providers to ensure cohesive treatment.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment team meetings to inform case planning and medical staff.
- Maintain accurate client records and submit documentation within expected deadlines.
- Implement interventions and clinical support to assist the treatment team in crisis situations.
- New York State LMSW required.
- LCSW eligible/preferred.
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Two years of experience providing clinical assessment, individual, and/or family therapy.
- Knowledge or familiarity with trauma-based interventions.
- Familiarity with DSM-V and diagnostic criteria.
