Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Exeter Hospital. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI procedures with attention to detail and patient safety.
  • Review medical records and requisitions to ensure accurate and complete information.
  • Explain procedures to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions.
  • Select and operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Review studies for overall quality and accuracy.
  • Organize daily work schedules and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Perform daily calibration checks on equipment and report any issues to maintenance personnel.
  • Provide instruction and training to medical and hospital staff on MRI safety protocols.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of current MRI experience.
  • ARRT (MR) certification.
  • Proficiency in using Siemens equipment (preferred).
  • Associates Degree or higher.
  • Previous travel experience (preferred).
  • NH Medical Imaging Radiation Therapy License (required).
Work Schedule
  • 12-hour night shifts (NBO).
  • 1.25x multiplier.
  • $5/hour on-call/charge.
Additional Information
  • Initial vaccination series required. Exemptions may be approved for religious or medical reasons.
  • Exeter Hospital is a walkable, historical town with many attractions and amenities.
