CNC Machinist Specialist

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at Kooks Custom Headers and Exhaust. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines, creating and modifying CNC programs, and ensuring high-quality output.

• Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAD/CAM software.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and adjustments as necessary.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to machine performance, tooling, and programming.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine techniques and methodologies.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist with hands-on programming skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC machining or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code), CAD/CAM software, and machining techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to maintain high precision and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
