We are a mid-sized local financial planning firm seeking a skilled Tax Senior Associate to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Tax Senior Associate will work closely with our tax team to prepare and review tax returns, handle client inquiries, and complete research assignments as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Handle routine client tax questions and work with clients to collect necessary information for tax return completion and compliance.
- Complete research assignments and special tasks as needed, recognizing opportunities to increase services to clients.
- Ensure professional development through ongoing education and obtaining additional certifications as appropriate.
- Stay informed about firm capabilities and promote these activities to clients when appropriate.
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting with an emphasis in taxation.
- Experience with both individual and business tax.
- CPA license/Enrolled Agent or CPA-eligible.
- B.S in Accounting or related degree.
- Masters in Taxation strongly preferred.
- $65k - $75k salary + bonus.
