Tool and Die Maker

We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team at Precision Castparts Corp. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and performing basic setups of machines such as manual and CNC mills, grinders, lathes, and EDMs.

• Work safely under functional safety guidelines, adhering to quality processes and in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Correctly interpret work orders, lift up to 45lbs, and operate basic lathes, grinders, and polishing equipment.
• Machine intermediate tooling components with assistance, perform basic equipment setups, and communicate with other departments as needed.
• Work in a team environment, following instructions and assisting others as needed.

• The ability to read and write English, perform basic shop math, and use basic hand tools, wrenches, etc.
• Intermediate print reading, basic familiarity with all relevant tools & equipment, and the ability to use basic inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators.
• Basic computer skills, the ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents, and read and interpret work instructions and basic prints and dimensions.

Typically 1-3 years of experience, GED or High School diploma preferred but not required.

This role requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations. To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency.
