Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Soil Scientist to join our Geotechnical and Natural Resources groups in Quakertown, PA. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical support to our geologists, engineers, and scientists on a variety of projects, including geotechnical and environmental development projects.

• Conduct field investigations, including logging test pits, soil borings, and rock cores.
• Perform soil infiltration testing and percolation testing.
• Prepare soil maps and reports documenting the work being performed.
• Assist in the preparation of geotechnical and infiltration testing reports.
• Observe and document construction activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications.

• Bachelor's Degree in Soil Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or a related field of study.
• Own transportation, valid driver's license, and good driving record.
• Enjoy working outdoors and have a strong desire to grow and advance as a Soil Scientist.
• 0-5 years of experience with test pit excavation and infiltration testing.
• Proficiency in the USDA Soil Classifications System and Soil taxonomy.

• Certified Professional Soil Scientist (CPSS) or Licensed Soil Scientist.
• Pennsylvania Professional Soil Scientist License.
• Sewage Enforcement Officer License.
