Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of proven experience developing and maintaining data processing applications using Spark and Scala.
  • Strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles and design patterns, with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and identify root causes.
  • In-depth understanding of Spark architecture, APIs, and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with database concepts and SQL, along with experience working with data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake).
  • Experience with test-driven development practices and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus.
