Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for hardware architecture used in test instrumentation systems. This role requires strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills to work with internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare or review technical documentation, including proposals, whitepapers, reports, and other types of documentation.
  • Radar System Analyses: Perform radar system analyses, including system sensitivity, angle accuracy, range accuracy, and others.
  • Customer Support: Work with internal and external customers to resolve technical issues.
  • Technical Briefs: Prepare technical briefs and presentations for internal leadership and test range customers.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to senior leadership, program management, and engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 15+ years of experience or a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and 8 years of experience.
  • Active Secret clearance required.
  • Ability to travel is required.
  • Understanding of radar systems architecture.
  • Thorough understanding of magnetron tube-based transmitters and modulators.
  • Proven track record of working with customers to resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in ground radar system operation, design, and development.
  • Familiarity with range instrumentation radar or similar systems.
  • Experience with research and development projects.
  • Familiarity with U.S. and/or international test range operations.
Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $115,110 - $195,660 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
