**Job Summary**

As a member of the American Senior Communities (ASC) team, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our Activities Department as an Activities Coordinator/Transportation Specialist. This role is responsible for carrying out activities for residents based on their varied backgrounds, problems, needs, and enjoyment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Recruits, organizes, trains, and recognizes volunteers to expand and supplement the activity program while including the largest number of residents possible
  • Assists in incorporating policies, best practices, and community resources to continually and systematically promote wholeness and wellness in every dimension of living for our residents
  • Collaborates with the care team to develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Provides transportation services for residents to and from activities and appointments

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience working in activities and/or with the senior population
