Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Server to join our team at Ynot Italian Inc. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests, ensuring that every visit is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner, making a positive first impression.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Take orders, deliver food and beverages, and ensure that guests are satisfied with their dining experience.
  • Alcohol Service: Serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Menu Recommendations: Make menu recommendations to guests to enhance their dining experience and improve restaurant profitability.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, resolve any complaints, and seek supervisory help as necessary.
  • Point of Sale Operations: Process payments, prepare bills, and manage cash and credit transactions.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary environment, including tables, floors, and equipment.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service, communicate effectively with guests and staff, and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of serving experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and basic math skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for long periods, walk while carrying trays, and lift up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will work indoors and outdoors in a busy dining room. Lighting and noise levels may vary depending on the time of day and number of guests.

  • Competitive Pay: $2.13 - $7.25 per hour.
