Job Title: Neonatology Specialist

The Ascension Health organization is seeking a skilled Physician - Neonatology to join our team at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital Evansville in Evansville, IN. As a leading healthcare provider, we offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth and development.

Salary: $250,000 per year

About the Position: We are looking for a dedicated neonatologist to provide exceptional care to critically ill newborns in our state-of-the-art Level III NICU. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and excellent clinical, communication, and team-based skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Care for critically ill newborns in a state-of-the-art Level III NICU.
  • Utilize advanced capabilities including therapeutic hypothermia, jet ventilation, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation, and neurally adjusted ventilatory assist (NAVA).
  • Participate in QI projects, as well as intermittent education of medical and physician assistant students.

Requirements:
  • Fellowship trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and team-based skills.
  • BC/BE in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
