Leasing Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Leasing Consultant to join our team at Equity Residential. As a Leasing Consultant, you will play a critical role in bringing people and apartment homes together, building strong relationships with our residents, and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Connect with prospective residents through personalized interactions, appointments, and follow-up communications to understand their needs and preferences.
• Showcase our community by conducting property tours and delivering compelling sales pitches about the benefits of living in an Equity Residential apartment home.
• Manage the leasing process by guiding new residents through each step, ensuring seamless transitions, and maintaining accurate records.
• Collaborate with our talented team to identify and resolve any apartment issues that arise, ensuring resident satisfaction and loyalty.
• Plan and execute engaging activities that foster a sense of community among residents, promoting a positive and inclusive living environment.

• Demonstrated proficiency in working with computers, including word processing, calendar management, software/database, and other relevant tools.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a college degree or coursework preferred.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to meet the needs of our residents.

• Prior experience in leasing, sales, or hospitality, with a proven track record of success in customer-facing roles.
