Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Floral Assistant - Customer Experience Specialist to join our team at our Nazareth location. As a key member of our floral department, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and stocking items, making flower arrangements, helping customers, and wrapping plants and flowers.

Responsibilities

• Promptly review work schedules, check equipment and supplies required for duties, comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and prepare for tasks at the start of each shift.
• Use a U-boat to obtain inventory from receiving and place it in the floral cooler.
• Make arrangements, assist customers, wrap flowers and plants, and inflate balloons as needed.
• Maintain a clean department and cooler.
• Track and record losses.

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively to complete job duties and comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Must complete the company's 60-day introductory period.
• Meet ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as physical base scores for this position.
• Ability to use or learn to use equipment and tools used for this job.
• Able to perform all job functions safely.
• Meet company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
• Able to wear assigned clothing and shoes approved for this job.
• One year of work experience or technical training.
• Keyboard skills.

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: 4-hour shifts or more based on business needs.
• Job cycles: continuous.
• Lift/carry: 40 pounds.
• Stand: 55%, sit: 0%, walk: 45%.
• Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 pounds.
• Max pull static: 20 pounds.
