Emergency Room Nurse Team Lead

Your Role:
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care. You will assist with admission and discharge processes, participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services, collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork, and support a patient-first philosophy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (required), Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- 1+ years of experience in healthcare (required).
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Must obtain Nursing Certification within 6 months of hire or transfer.
