Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Lexington Clinic is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will work under general supervision to assist the radiologist in performing diagnostic procedures for patients. Your primary responsibility will be to work effectively with patients and other clinic personnel to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal training in Radiologic Technology from an AMA-approved school
  • Registry eligibility for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Current state licensure
  • Certification by the Kentucky Department of Human Resources of Radiation Control Branch
  • CPR certification
Physical Guidelines

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will be required to move, traverse, position themselves, and remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours per day. They will also be exposed to minimal radiation and will be responsible for assisting patients in turning, arising from exam tables, and pushing wheelchairs.

This is a full-time position with no nights, holidays, or call. Lexington Clinic is an equal opportunity employer.
