Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Ascension Illinois. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in administering radiation therapy to patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the treatment process.
Responsibilities- Administer radiation therapy to patients, following prescribed treatment plans and protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for treatment, ensuring accurate anatomic parameters and technical settings.
- Collaborate with physicians and dosimetrists to deliver high-quality patient treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions, including patient data and treatment outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory agency standards and maintain a clean, safe, and orderly department.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Radiation Therapist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 12 months of hire date.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
