**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Fairview Southdale Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals of all ages and populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department
- Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity and urgency
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans
- Delegate responsibilities to other healthcare professionals as needed
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Requirements:
- Current RN license in the state of Minnesota
- BLS and ACLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 1 year of hire
- 2 years of current RN IMC or 1 year of RN Emergency Department or pediatric/adult critical care experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- BSN degree
- Certification by the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing as a CEN, and/or course in advanced trauma nursing (ATCN)
- ED Charge Nurse experience
