Amergis Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Speech/Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech/Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing students' communication skills, developing treatment plans, and providing speech and language therapy to students.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Evaluation: Assess students' communication skills, including articulations, fluency, voice, expressive and receptive language, to identify communication disorders and determine program eligibility.
- Treatment Planning: Develop treatment plans, interventions, and educational materials to minimize the adverse impact of communication disorders.
- Therapy Services: Provide speech and language therapy to students to minimize the adverse impact of speech and language disorders on student success.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with various groups and individuals to communicate information, resolve issues, and provide services in compliance with established guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintain files and records, including progress reports, activity logs, billing information, treatment plans, and required documentation.
- Education and Licensure: Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.
- Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in the English language, strong communication skills, and computer proficiency required. Ability to effectively elicit and provide information to and from appropriate individuals.
- Work Environment: Will have a non-shared space (unless there is another SLP hired). FT position, Grade Levels: PK-12th.
