- Assessment and Testing: Provide assistance during assessments and testing situations, including interpreting exam questions, prompts, and instructions for students.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on current trends, practices, and educational resources related to ASL interpretation and deaf culture.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in American Sign Language or a related field.
- Language Skills: Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL).
- Certifications: 4.0+ EIPA or NIC certification.
- Experience: Experience working as an ASL interpreter in an educational setting is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and staff.
