Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supermarket Refrigeration HVAC Technician to join our team at Walmart. As a Refrigeration HVAC Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing our facilities' Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
  • Utilize the work order management system to receive repair Work Orders and document repair activities.
  • Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls and inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
  • Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Environmental Protection Agency regulations and guidelines.
  • Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work at heights frequently.

Requirements

  • Vocational or Technical Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) certification and 2 years' experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls.
  • Type I/Type II Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Certification for Refrigerant handling.
  • Preferred qualifications include completion of a 2-year Vocational or Technical HVAC/R program and Mechanical license in the city and/or state where the job is located.

Compensation

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00-$45.00. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
