We are seeking a part-time, in-person Haitian Creole Interpreter to assist our Early Intervention Specialists in providing written and verbal interpretation services. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Haitian Creole and English, with a strong understanding of pediatric experience.
Key Responsibilities- Provide translating/interpreting services for Early Intervention Specialists and families during home visits, center-based visits, group meetings, and remote sessions as needed.
- Translate written materials such as parent letters, newsletters, narrative reports, IFSPs, and notes.
- Assist Early Intervention Specialists during home visits and maintain a collaborative approach to service provision.
- Ensure compliance with all Kennedy Donovan Center policies and procedures, as well as DPH regulations and requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bilingual in Haitian Creole and English.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
- Pediatric experience.
- A diverse and inclusive work environment.
