Carpenter Job DescriptionThe Carpenter will construct, repair, and install building frameworks and structures made from wood and other materials. Work will be both indoors and outdoors on various construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow blueprints and building plans
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows and molding
Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
Construct and install building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Related experience preferred
Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
