As a Licensed Practical Nurse at ClearSky Health, you will provide general nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with physician's orders and established standards and protocols. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Implementing orders for medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and in accordance with nursing care plan as written by the Registered Nurse.
  • Participating in evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions in relation to patient responses and seeking guidance in redirection when necessary.
  • Assisting in identification of patient's learning needs and reinforcing self-care and other techniques.
  • Reporting to supervisor on patient care rendered, problems concerning patients' needs, and resolution to those needs as well as appropriately designating applicable charges to individual patients using the hospital's established system.
  • Helping identify patient problems and potential risks and contributing to the development of interventions.
  • Providing an environment conducive to safety for patients, visitors, and staff. Assessing the risks for safety and implementing appropriate precautions. Complying with appropriate and approved safety and Infection Prevention standards.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 (two) years' experience in inpatient hospital setting, inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse required.
  • Current CPR certification required.
